CONTINUING GROWTH FOR SUPERFORM

Manchester: 1 May 2008 Luxfer today announced a 3 year expansion plan of the current Superform site and facilities at Worcester in the UK. The first phase has begun with an increase of the current site from 3000 m2 to 5000 m2. New facilities will included additional forming capacity and the introduction of the latest Laser Trimming Technology from Prima. This increase in capacity and investment in new technology will ensure that Superform maintain their position as the leaders in Superforming Technology.

Robot Hemming
Superform can now supply complete assemblies for Automotive Closures such as Doors, Bonnets, Tailgates and Tonneau Covers. Investment in the latest ABB Robot Hemming Technology and Automated Adhesive system supplied by SCA ensures high quality hemmed assemblies can be supplied.

Magnesium
The ability to form at 450oC enables Superform to form Magnesium sheet AZ31B-0 into complex components. In collaboration with Magnesium Elektron North America another Luxfer Group Company, sheet up to 1600mm in width can be formed without detriment to the component or material properties.

Inspection
Investment in quality is key to a successful company. In addition to Superform's existing FARO inspection arm the installation of a 4m x 2m Wenzel CMM and Metrosoft Software confirms our commitment to supplying quality products.
