LUXFER GAS CYLINDERS APPOINT NEW SALES MANAGER FOR THE NORTH AMERICAN ALTERNATIVE FUELS MARKET

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (May 10, 2008) - Dave Myers was recently named North American Sales Manager for the Luxfer Alternative Fuel Cylinder Division (AFCD), part of the worldwide Luxfer Gas Cylinders organisation.

Actively involved with the Alternative Fuels (AF) industry for the past two decades, Myers has specialised in the development and sale of products designed specifically for compressed natural gas (CNG) and hydrogen systems.

Myers holds patents for valve and pressure-relief device (PRD) technology for both CNG and hydrogen cylinders. His more than 20 years of experience with high-pressure gases encompasses a broad range of applications ranging from semiconductor systems to fabrication of vehicular fuel systems. A member of the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Myers serves on a number of technical committees dealing with CNG vehicles and components.
