LUXFER GAS CYLINDERS OPENS NEW EUROPEAN ALTERNATIVE FUELS DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (May 10, 2008) Luxfer Gas Cylinders recently opened its new European AF Distribution Centre in Brescia, Italy. �This new facility will expedite delivery of our AF carbon composite cylinders to our customers all over Europe,� said Mark Lawday, Luxfer AF Marketing Manager.

Later this summer, Luxfer will begin work on an important expansion of its AF cylinder production capabilities as part of a comprehensive restructuring of Luxfer manufacturing operations announced in January. Current AF manufacturing facilities will be moved into a much larger plant in Riverside, Calif., that will be dedicated exclusively to manufacturing carbon composite cylinders for various markets. Operations for making large-diameter aluminum liners for composite AF cylinders will be moved into the same Riverside plant from their current location in Huntington Beach, Calif. �These moves will greatly increase our AF manufacturing efficiency by putting all our operations under one roof,� Lawday said.

Founded in 1898, Luxfer is the world's largest manufacturer of aluminum and composite cylinders. The company currently operates manufacturing facilities in the U.S., England, France and China and maintains a worldwide network of sales offices.
