Luxfer Plays Part of 'Green Industrial Revolution'

MANCHESTER, England -- Luxfer Holdings PLC (NYSE: LXFR), a global manufacturer of highly-engineered industrial materials (“Luxfer” or the “Company”), today announced a five-fold increase in the number of enquiries for its hydrogen fuel storage in 2020.
As the world’s largest manufacturer of high-pressure composite and aluminum cylinders, Luxfer Gas Cylinders has unrivalled industry leading expertise in designing and supplying the storage systems that hold the alternative fuel.
“Over the next two years, our industry is going to see a step change in the variety of new applications for hydrogen in areas we perhaps did not even think of a few years ago,” said Jim Gregory, European Business Development Manager at Luxfer Gas Cylinders. “In 2019 the demand we saw was primarily for public transport, road freight and some cars. In 2020, the range of applications has expanded significantly – we began working on projects relating to other transport modes including boats, construction equipment, forklift trucks and aerospace projects.”
