Isolux Technology Proven in China

ISOLUX IN CHINA

MEL’s Isolux® arsenic removal technology has been tested and proven for the Chinese market with the help of Beijing Normal University. In collaboration with Chinese water engineering company, WBD, a pilot test unit was set up in the university. The media was proven to remove arsenic effectively, even at levels that are 2,500 times higher than the safe maximum concentration limit for drinking water. The test results were approved by the University.

Approval of the technology was necessary before opportunities for Isolux® could be identified. WBD will now proceed to identify applications for Isolux® throughout China. WBD are a company of around 800 people who work on larger-scale water treatment installations for both industrial and municipal supply.
